I have been working in an international corporation for a year now and I noticed something strange pervading the corporate world in general. I’m talking about the fact that my workplace has serious intentions to become my boyfriend. And a perfect one!

All my girlfriends studying Mathematics with me at the university have officially got married… with an engineer. The combo “math girl + engineer guy” seems to work pretty well, even beyond my restricted group of friends. The girl knows the theory, the guy brings the practice.

I love personality tests because I like labelling things, including myself. Recently I took the Gallup’s “Strengths Finder 2.0” test, which is supposed to identify what you’re inherently good at.

I admit it, I follow dating coaches on YouTube. To be clear: this is not something I just picked up because I’ve recently happened to be single. I’m proud to say that I first subscribed to a dating coach channel on YouTube waaaay back in time.

I broke up with my boyfriend a couple of months ago. I’m slowly recovering and probably I’m writing this article as part of the journey. Friends and family have been key in this period. Some of them suggested I should get Tinder now.
